I am a 20 something “Single White Female” blogging about life, love, men, and everything in between. I believe there’s a country song for everything and most songs speak to my soul. I love twangy old and new country music, the sound of a steel guitar, summer, sun, deep conversations, full moons, beautiful scenery, psychology, shopping, spiritual upliftment, good friends, honesty, reality tv (don’t judge), and chocolate.

I just stumbled across your blog–I love your “nicknames” 🙂 I’m married just over a year, and my mom gave me Love Language book for my one year wedding anniversary. I think it skims over some topics and is too general, but overall it’s got some great points. The biggest thing I’ve learned about maintaining a relationship is it takes time to fall into step with your significant others. It’s like a puzzle piece that almost fits, but yous slowly have to wiggle it in to find the right orientation.
Love your writing, and can’t wait to read more!

Thanks for stumbling and for your comment! Gotta have the nicknames to keep up my anonymous status so it’s kinda fun ha 🙂 I’ve never actually read the book so I have no idea besides the main points but you’re probably right, kinda just more basic. Interesting concept though. Congrats on getting married and thanks so much for your advice! I love advice from people that are already there because the rest of us want to get to that point so it’s definitely good to know! I like the comparison because it makes complete sense that you can be a good fit with someone but still have to move around and figure out how to make it fit best.
